This is a great expression, in our humble opinion, and makes you sound native and natural. Have you ever heard of it?
We use “as you see fit” to express doing something the most appropriate way according to that person. Look at the examples below and see if you can get the meaning:
- There are no guidelines. Do it as you see fit.
- Each parent will raise their children as they see fit. You can’t dictate anything.
- Decorate the flat as you see fit. The only thing we require is that it’s in good condition.
- Catalogue the information as you see fit. I don’t mind.
Bear in mind that one of the most difficult parts of this expression is the pronunciation of “as she sees fit”. Try repeating the phrase a few times and get the tongue rolling.
